Security Barrier
Israel's security barrier exists only to protect civilians of all religions and ethnicities from racist terrorist groups.

False US-Mexico border comparisons
Equating Israel's barrier with the one on the US-Mexico border is ignorant and offensive. There is no comparison between trying to stop racist terrorist groups from murdering innocent people and trying to restrict immigration.

Why the barrier exists
With the 2nd Intifada, racist terrorist groups forced Israel to choose between making Palestinian lives more difficult or allowing more innocent Israelis to be murdered. The barrier is the tragic result of a brutal campaign of suicide bombings against Israeli civilians.

Peace negotiations needed
If Israeli and Palestinian leaders can come together to negotiate a just peace, the checkpoints, Gaza blockade, and other safety measures can be lifted and the issue of settlements can be resolved.

Attempted attacks against Israel
Israel stopped around 500 terrorist attacks against its people in 2018. This shocking number illustrates why safety measures like checkpoints and the security barrier still exist.

Opinions about annexation
Some security experts believe annexing parts of the West Bank would harm Israel’s security by damaging peaceful relations with Egypt and Jordan, causing the Palestinian Authority to collapse, and sparking war with Hamas, among other reasons.

Analysis of possible annexation of parts of the West Bank
Some argue that potential Israeli annexation of parts of the West Bank is a way to pressure Palestinian leaders to negotiate peace, by showing that time is not on their side.
